Specific solutions according to your needs

AC 100
Jesmonite AC100 is a water-based composite material used to make decorative moulded objects. It is safe to use and contains no solvents or VOCs. It can be cast and laminated using our unique Quadaxial Glass.
Informations
- Easy to use, adaptable material for all moulding applications.
- Suitable for decorative cast objects, mould cases, wall panels.
- Supplied with a range of ancillary products including glass reinforcements, pigments, fillers, and control chemicals to adapt the material to the widest range of applications.
- The ultimate chameleon material, can replicate virtually any surface, colour, or texture.
Available in sizes range from 3.5kg to 3,500kg.

AC 300
Jesmonite AC300 is a water-based composite material used to make decorative moulded objects. It has a lower resin content than AC100 for cost sensitive applications where our AC100 may be over specified. It can be cast and laminated using our unique Quadaxial Glass.

AC730
Jesmonite AC730 is a rapid setting acrylic modified cementitious composite. The system is primarily designed for glass reinforced, lightweight, hand laminated decorative applications, but it can also be used for small decorative castings.
Informations
- Shrinkage compensated material of low permeability.
- Durable in all conditions of external weathering including water features.
- Reduced free-lime content, with low alkalinity, leading to major reductions in efflorescence in comparison with ordinary Portland cement systems.
- Contains a fine decorative aggregate and powder pigments, carefully controlled to give a consistent decorative surface finish after treatment with a proprietary brick cleaner or acid etch.
- In addition to the eight standard stone finishes (natural, Bath stone, yellow sandstone, white marble, Portland, silver grey granite, antique terracotta and charcoal black)
Available in kit sizes range from 6kg to 1,200kg..

FLEX METAL GEL COATS
Jesmonite Flex Metal Gel Coats are the latest development in Jesmonite materials. They are formulated using real metal powder to create the ultimate replication of metal in moulded materials. They are four finishes available and they are fully compatible with AC730 and AC830 as a cast or laminated back up.
Informations
- Uses a unique Flex Resin technology to create the first and only water based metallic gel coat system.
- Metals can be infinitely mixed and pigmented to further expand the palette of finishes.
- Ex-mould surfaces can be polished with fine grades of wire wool to reveal the metal powders by hand or polishing machinery can be used with the metallic polishing heads.
- Metallic surfaces can be waxed, sealed or have a patina applied just like real metal.
Available in kit sizes range from 650g to 13kg.
There are four metal finishes, Bronze, Brass, Copper, and Silver Bronze.
PIGMENTS
Jesmonite Pigments are aqueous dispersions compatible with Jesmonite composites. When dispersed in Jesmonite materials they offer excellent chemical stability and heat stability. Call for further details. Pigments are available in 200g and 1,000g bottles.
The Jesmonite Pigments shelf life is 24 months from the date displayed on the packaging.

RETARDERS
Set times of all Jesmonite composite materials can be extended by the addition of Retarder to increase working time. There is a Retarder for AC100, AC200 and AC300, and a separate Retarder for the cement based materials AC730, AC830 and AC930. Please note that the end user should perform tests in the workshop environment, as extremes of temperature and humidity can effect set times. Addition rates can be found in the individual composite user guides.
FIBRE REINFORCMENT QUADAXIAL GLAS
This type of glass reinforcement is tailor made for use with Jesmonite. It is based on the latest multiaxial glass reinforcement technology, which makes Jesmonite fibreglass laminates light, strong and fire resistant. It is constructed like a lace, with continuous glass strands in four axis (multiaxial) stitched together using the fireproof material Nomex®.
There are very few free filaments, making the glass safe and comfortable to use. It can be accurately cut using scissors or roller cutters, and will conform to even the most complex shapes. This makes it especially suitable to mould making and panel construction.
Please note that fibreglass matting (CSM) for use with solvent-based resins such as polyester is not suitable for use with Jesmonite materials.

CHOPPED STRANDS
Jesmonite Chopped Glass Strands can be added to all Jesmonite composites to give increased strength in thin section castings, and also to act as a filler to assist in laminating. Jesmonite Chopped Glass Strands are available in three types: 6mm and 12mm as standard glass, and 13mm Alkali Resistant glass which are designed specifically for use with Jesmonite AC630 to create a premix. Chopped strands can also be used to add impact resistance when applying thin sections of Jesmonite to carved objects made from polystyrene.
PVA FIBRES
PVA fibres are the new alternative to glass reinforcements for cement systems. They are a synthetic polyvinylalcohol fibre with chemical and physical attributes that make them particularly suitable to the Jesmonite family of Polymer Modified Cement materials. They have high strength combined with low elongation and high modulus. They provide advanced adhesion to the polymer cement matrix as well as inherent resistance to the degrading effects of the alkalinity of such a matrix. We strongly recommend their addition to Jesmonite systems when high strength retention after severe exposure make them especially suitable to resist frost damage in the most harsh external environments.
