Description
Calcast 100 is designed as a multi-functional plaster that can be used as a filler and mould making material.
It can be used to create architectural and decorative ornaments, for frames, textural coatings, as a stucco plaster, or for making creative objects of all kinds.
This plaster is very suitable for mould making. For example, for clay casting, due to the high moisture absorption of ß-plasters. Or for making moulds for bronze parts.
You can also use it to pour cement and similar products and then cut it out.

If you wish to cast plaster in a plaster mould, cover the mould with black soap to enable it to be demoulded.
Processing
The mixing ratio for calcast 100 is 18 litres of water to 25 kg of gypsum, i.e. 720 ml to 100 g of plaster.
Measure the exact quantity of water and gypsum, and sprinkle the powder into the water.
Leave to soak for a few minutes or more depending on the nature of the operation.
Then mix thoroughly. For larger quantities, mix with mechanical means.
After checking that the mould is watertight, proceed to pour the homogeneous mixture.
In order to avoid air bubbles, pour the mixture into the mould in a thin stream.
Demoulding can be done after a few hours depending on the temperature of the part.

Safety data
The product is not harmful under normal conditions of use and does not contain any substances harmful to the environment. During use wear protective clothing. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary.

Shipping costs for quantities of + 40kg outside Belgium must be calculated on a custom basis and will not be included in your order.
