Rigid structural polyurethane foam

Description

PU foam H75 is a structural polyurethane foam with a rigid structure and a skin formation for decorative pieces. It is more stable and is ideal for the creation of structures to be painted afterwards.

It can be used to fill hollow spaces or shapes such as boats, relief shapes, figures or models. With H 75, wood can be imitated when poured into a silicone mould. Due to its closed cell structure suitable for long-term contact with water, it can be painted, glued, filled, nailed and screwed. Can be coloured with 5% PUR pigment. Caution: does not give a homogeneous colour. When exposed to sunlight, the material may discolour after some time.

After curing, the resulting foam has a closed cell structure and skin formation with a density of 75 kg/m³.

Instruction

Mix the individual components thoroughly. Mix the two components in a ratio of 100/145 by weight and pour the mixture into the shape or area to be filled. Pot life is approximately 60 seconds. Expansion is about 13 x volume. Dries after 15 min. Deformable after 20 min. and fully cured after 12 hours. Allow for a processing temperature of 20°C to 25°C. Store the foam between 10°C and 25°C because of its sensitivity to frost. Mixing is best done with a mechanical mixer. As a release agent we recommend APW.

Security

Always wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves. Avoid long-term skin contact. Caution: container may be under pressure. Cleaning agent for tools: cleaner M and for hands: hand cleaner Slig (Stockhausen soap).
