They are an ecological alternative to other resin systems, more resistant and easier to use.

But then. How to choose between the two, and what to consider ?

The AC100, infinite creativity

AC100, water-based, solvent-free, risk-free and able to reproduce virtually any surface, color or texture. There’s no limit to your imagination here!

The blend ? Quite simple, we are at a ratio of 1 (liquid) to 2.5 (powder) by weight. You’ll have a texture that’s easy to mix and pour into every little nook and cranny, and best of all… you can create virtually anything you like ! Shades, marble effect, terrazzo, glitter, …

This product is extremely easy to work with and, above all, fast. (You’ll have an average of 10 minutes once your mixture is ready, and once poured, depending on the size of your mold, you’ll be able to unmold it in 30 minutes to 2 hours. Pretty cool, huh ?)

It may encounter a little water, but not a lot. To further protect your creations, you can use a sealer (note that this does not make it “water-proof”, but “water-resistant”).

Nevertheless, if we compare it to plaster, we are clearly dealing with the most resistant and the lightest !

The finish or rendering will be ” smooth ” by nature.

Ideal for indoor use !

The AC730, a true stone effect

The AC730, on the other hand, is more of a cementitious base. Is a mixture of waterborne acrylic and cement-based powder.

We’re talking big, heavy stuff that will enable you to make pieces identical to what you could do with concrete, but always with the same desire for simplicity and greater lightness!
Ratios ? We’re moving to a ratio of 5 powders to 1 liquid.
(By the way, don’t worry if the mixture seems too sandy at first. Patience…. Gradually, you’ll obtain a smooth, creamy mixture. (However, much thicker than with the AC100)

Working time will be longer, as will drying time (wait 4 hours before unmolding if pouring).

3 major differences from AC100 : pigments already integrated, a genuine ” rough stone ” look and the possibility of exterior use ! (Incidentally, this material can be used as a laminate, even for facade cladding).

To get that lovely “concrete – authentic rough stone ” look we love, you’ll need to treat the surfaces afterwards with acid (or…. white vinegar, which also works very well). Don’t panic, once again, it’s within everyone’s reach. That’s when you’ll see the real thing in all its glory ! (The biggest difference will be seen with Grey Granit, where your black speckle and glitter effect will appear as if by magic).

And you ?
