Make sure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from dust or any other traces of air pollution.<\/p>

Use a cloth, newspaper or painter’s tape to protect surrounding surfaces from splashes.<\/p>

Shake the spray bottle vigorously for 1-2 minutes to ensure that the varnish is thoroughly mixed.<\/p>

Hold the sprayer at a distance of 20 cm from the surface and keep it at a constant distance for even coverage.<\/p>

Apply pressure to the nozzle head by sweeping your hand from left to right, then a second pressure from right to left, and so on.<\/p>

You need to hear a “pschitt” per change of direction, so successively hear “pschitt, pschitt, pschitt” rather than a continuous “pschiiiiiiiitt”, to avoid unsightly castings or overspray.<\/p>

Spray the varnish in thin, even coats. Start with a light coat and leave to dry for a few minutes before applying further coats. This ensures a smooth finish. <\/p>

Pay attention to corners and edges to avoid uneven application.<\/p>

Once the varnish is completely dry, you can rectify any imperfections by lightly sanding the surface with relatively fine-grained sandpaper.<\/p>
