RESOLTECH 1070 ECO \/ 1076 ECO is a colorless, partially biobased epoxy laminating system. It is formulated for the manufacture of transparent composite parts with a high-quality gloss finish, good UV resistance and high mechanical properties. <\/p>\n
1070 ECO \/ 1076 ECO is an epoxy system formulated for professionals who build surfboards, windsurfers, kiteboards or any other part requiring a glossy, transparent surface finish.<\/p>\n
This epoxy system is 31% biobased according to ASTM D6866-12 on the mixture, has excellent wettability and is not sensitive to blush. The film obtained will be perfectly colorless when applied with a carbon or linen fabric, and transparent when applied with a glass fabric. The viscosity is suitable for application with a spatula or brush, and the surface-active properties ensure a bubble-free surface.<\/p>\n
The system has been formulated to leave no free amines, enabling an inhibition-free finish with a polyester topcoat.<\/p>\n
The 1070 ECO \/ 1076 ECO system will polymerize at room temperature and does not require post-curing. Like most epoxies, this system can be post-cured to increase its temperature resistance. <\/p>\n
