Rigid polyurethane foam.
H75 PU foam is a structural polyurethane foam with a rigid structure and skin formation for decorative parts. More stable, it’s ideal for creating structures to be painted later.
Use to fill hollow spaces or shapes such as boats, relief forms, figures or models. With H 75, wood can be imitated when poured into a silicone mold. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, suitable for long-term contact with water, it can be painted, glued, filled, nailed and screwed. Can be colored with 5% PUR pigment. Caution: does not give a homogeneous color. When exposed to sunlight, the material may discolor after some time.
After curing, the resulting foam has a closed-cell, skin-forming structure and a density of 75 kg/m³.
Mix the different components well.
Mix the two components in a ratio of 100/145 by weight and pour the mixture into the shape or area to be filled.
Pot life is approximately 60 seconds.
Expansion is around 13 x volume.
Drying after 15 min.
Deformable after 20 min. and completely cured after 12 hours.
Allow a processing temperature of 20°C to 25°C.
Store foam between 10°C and 25°C, as it is sensitive to frost.
Mixing is preferably done with a mechanical mixer.
As a release agent, we recommend APW.
Always wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves. Avoid long-term skin contact. Warning: the container may be under pressure. Cleaning agent for tools: M cleaner and for hands: Slig hand cleaner (Stockhausen soap).
