The 4000-4006 transparent epoxy glazing resin is a two-component epoxy system designed to create high-gloss transparent finishes with a wet look effect. Its self-leveling formula provides a perfectly smooth, colorless, and uniform film, ideal for glazing, protecting, and finishing decorative surfaces.
Easy to apply, this epoxy resin offers excellent anti-bubble properties, as well as good UV and scratch resistance, ensuring a high-quality, glossy, and durable finish.
This epoxy glazing resin is perfect for many applications such as river tables, solid wood furniture, surfboards, decorative trays, artistic resin creations, or exposed carbon and other composite parts.
4000 CLEAR / 4006 resin can also be tinted with ground epoxy pigments or transparent dyes to create colored glossy finishes and personalized decorative effects.
After curing at room temperature, the surface can be sanded and polished for an even finer finish. Its amine-free formulation ensures compatibility with polyester topcoats and polyurethane varnishes, without inhibition.
