The 4000-4006 transparent epoxy glazing resin is a two-component epoxy system designed to create high-gloss transparent finishes with a wet look effect. Its self-leveling formula provides a perfectly smooth, colorless, and uniform film, ideal for glazing, protecting, and finishing decorative surfaces.

4000 CLEAR / 4006 resin can be tinted with pigments to create custom effects. Thanks to its self-leveling formula, it naturally provides a smooth, glossy finish after curing. Polishing can be done if necessary for specific finishing requirements.
Its free-amine-free formulation ensures excellent compatibility with varnishes and topcoats, without inhibition.

The substrate must be clean, dry, and degreased.
On porous substrates (wood, stone), a primer coat is recommended to prevent bubbles.
Mix the transparent epoxy resin with the hardener. Mixing ratio: 100:40 by weight (i.e., 100 g resin to 40 g hardener).
Mix slowly for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the container to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Ideal temperature: 18 to 25 °C

It can be applied by pouring onto a substrate, then spread evenly using a brush or spreader. Its self-leveling formula ensures a perfectly flat, transparent surface with a wet-look effect and high gloss.
After curing, the surface can be sanded and polished if needed for an optimal result.
Intermediate sanding is recommended at each stage when the drying time exceeds 24 hours.
